Talks between Sterling (plus his representatives) and Liverpool have been called off.
Aidy Ward’s comments about Raheem Sterling’s contract situation caused shockwaves across social media this morning and it seems Liverpool have decided to take some form of action.
It was reported earlier this week that Liverpool will hold a meeting with Sterling’s representatives on Friday, a meeting in which Ward will inform the club of Sterling’s wish to leave.
However, after the agent’s controversial comments to the Evening Standard, Liverpool have decided to postpone tomorrow’s meeting, according to Liverpool Echo.
Liverpool continue to maintain that there is no desire to sell Sterling this summer.
