Liverpool star Virgil van Dijk has dropped a hint regarding his availability ahead of his side’s Premier League fixture against Chelsea this weekend.
The Reds defender sustained a blow to the ribs in his side’s comprehensive 3-0 home victory against Southampton last Saturday, which saw him sidelined for the Carabao Cup defeat against Chelsea in midweek.
Speaking to the media ahead of Saturday’s blockbuster clash at Stamford Bridge, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admitted that Van Dijk was a doubt leading into the weekend.
However, the Dutchman took to Instagram on Friday afternoon to express his excitement for the game, claiming that he is “looking forward” to the test against Chelsea.
