Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has confirmed that attacking midfielder Curtis Jones will train with the squad ahead of the trip to face Manchester United.
The Reds head to Old Trafford on Sunday to take on their greatest rivals and will be hoping to have nigh on a full collection of players to choose from.
Having missed the resounding victory over Watford last weekend and the midweek clash at Atletico Madrid, Jones could be in line to return to the matchday squad at least in Manchester.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, as cited by Paul Gorst on Twitter, Klopp had mixed news on the injury front.
The 54-year-old said Jones ‘should be in contention’ for selection whilst Thiago is ‘back running’ following a calf problem but won’t be available.
Liverpool will be hoping to remain unbeaten across all competitions and perhaps go back to the top of the Premier League depending on results elsewhere.

Jones’ inclusion in the squad gives the Reds a much stronger overall outlook.
Perhaps the most attack-minded of the remaining midfield options, the Scouse ace would be somewhat of a wildcard to return immediately back into the starting lineup.
As for Thiago, Kopites will no doubt be frustrated with the ongoing issue as the 30-year-old had begun to show his best form prior to the blow.
