Liverpool youngster Rhys Williams is believed to be heading to Swansea City on a season-long loan deal.
The 20-year-old centre-back looks set to join the Championship club on deadline day as the Reds attempt to finalise a squad for the first half of the 2021/22 campaign.
This will be the towering starlet’s second loan spell away from Anfield since graduating through the academy system on Merseyside.
According to a report from The Athletic, as cited by James Pearce on Twitter, Williams will become a Swansea player prior to tonight’s deadline.

Williams, an England Under 21 international, made 19 first-team appearances last season as Jurgen Klopp’s side were decimated by injury.
Alongside Nat Phillips, the ex-Kidderminster loanee helped inspire the Reds to what had seemed an unlikely third-place Premier League finish.

Valued at £4.5million and under contract until 2023 at Anfield (Transfermarkt), this is a superb move for all parties.
Everyone can see the development and benefits a loan move to the second tier has given Harvey Elliott, a path Liverpool will hope Williams can follow.
Given the sheer level of competition for places in Klopp’s squad, the youngster had to go out and seek senior football in order to build on last term.
Williams will undoubtedly be one to watch throughout the season as the Englishman attempts to help the Welsh club towards another push for promotion.
