Long-standing Liverpool target Houssem Aouar has reportedly been placed on the transfer list by Lyon following a humbling defeat over the weekend.
The Ligue 1 side have picked up just one point from their opening two fixtures after a 3-0 defeat to Angers and it’s believed sporting director Juninho hopes to address an ‘attitude problem’ at the club.
Aouar has been linked with a possible switch to Anfield on numerous occasions down the years and could now be edging towards an exit.
According to a report from RMC Sport, as cited by GFFN on Twitter, the 23-year-old is among numerous players now made available.

The report claims that all named stars could be sold for a ‘lower price’ than they might’ve previously commanded – perhaps less than the £25million Lyon wanted for Aouar.
Capped on one occasion by France, last season the midfielder scored seven times and added three assists in 30 league outings.

Despite a recent drop in value amidst issues at the club and a desire to move on, Aouar still holds a market value of £37.8million (Transfermarkt).
Reds’ boss Jurgen Klopp is in need of additional central midfield options – in particular ones with added creativity – following the departure of Gini Wijnaldum to Paris Saint-Germain.
Aouar boasts a plethora of attributes that would make the man once hailed as ‘incredible’ by Pep Guardiola a worthwhile addition to the Anfield squad.
