Virals: Serie A club eye ‘dream’ Mohamed Salah swoop

Juventus could reportedly eye a ‘dream’ move for Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.

The Serie A giants see the 29-year-old as the ideal candidate to replace Paulo Dybala – who is set to leave the club as a free agent this summer.

Amidst ongoing contract talks with the Reds, Salah would appear to be no closer to committing to Anfield beyond a current 2023 deal.

According to a report from Corriere della Sera, as cited by footballitalia on Twitter, Juve could eye the Egyptian.

The report claims that a move for the 80-cap ace is ‘forbidden for now’ but the Turin-based outfit may look to use the money saved from Dybala to swoop.

So far this season Salah has scored a remarkable 28 times and provided 10 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions.

Valued at £90million (Transfermarkt), Liverpool would undoubtedly hold out for a huge fee this summer despite the dwindling contract.

However, as things stand there is a very real possibility that Salah will be sold at the end of the season should no new deal be forthcoming between now and then to avoid losing the superstar for nothing.

Juventus are one of the few clubs in Europe who could likely afford the Egyptian and as such the interest could well lead to something more concrete.

Dybala himself has previously been linked with a move to Merseyside and the 28-year-old could potentially arrive as an immediate replacement of sorts without a transfer fee.
