Premier League side Liverpool are reportedly keeping a close eye on the situation of Benfica goalkeeper Odisseas Vlachodimos, who has a £54m release clause in his current contract.
As reported on HITC, the German international moved to the Portuguese side during the summer transfer window and has produced a string of eye-catching performances to cement his number one spot in goal.

The former Panathinaikos shot-stopper has represented Germany from under-15 level all the way to the under-21s and is tipped to find his way into the senior team in the near future.
The 24-year-old goalkeeper was part of the Stuttgart youth setup and has already kept three clean sheets in the Portuguese top flight this season.
Liverpool already signed Alisson Becker for around £67m during the summer from Serie A side AS Roma and are reportedly only scouting the young German at the moment. 16 clubs have scouted him this season and Liverpool are widely considered to be one of them.
However, if they want to secure his services then they will need to act quickly as fellow Premier League sides Chelsea, Manchester United and Newcastle United are all keeping an eye on his progress.
The goalkeeper looks to have settled in well in Portugal and his current deal with the club expires in 2023.
