Liverpool are still interested in signing Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to Christian Falk of Sport BILD.

The 18-year-old was reportedly interested in joining Bayern Munich during the summer, but no deal was ever made with Chelsea, so he remained at Stamford Bridge, where he is starting to show his abilities.

The teenager was originally upset due to a lack of first-team action at Chelsea and although he’s started to get more game time, he’s still interested in a move to Germany, according to Falk.

Hudson-Odoi has been called into the England squad for the first time by manager Gareth Southgate and he could feature against the Czech Republic on Friday evening.

There is a long list of players who have featured for both Chelsea and Liverpool in the Premier League era and it looks like Liverpool want to add the winger to that list.

Hudson-Odoi is out of contract at the end of next season and he’s rejected deals worth a reported £85,000-a-week from Chelsea.

If he doesn’t sign a new deal soon, Chelsea may have no option to sell him in the summer. Whether that is to Liverpool, Munich or elsewhere remains to be seen.
