Everton have been hit by a fifth injury blow ahead of the Merseyside Derby as Fabian Delph is now a doubt for the game.
With Theo Walcott, Yerry Mina and Jean-Philippe Gbamin all ruled out of the game and with Andre Gomes a doubt, the last thing the Blues needed was another injury but that’s exactly what they’ve got.
According to a report from Phil Kirkbride of The Liverpool Echo, the former Manchester City midfielder has a muscle problem that has resulted in him being unable to train fully with the rest of the Everton squad.

The derby game could be Liverpool’s chance to win the Premier League title if Arsenal are somehow able to defeat Manchester City next Wednesday.
Liverpool will travel to Goodison Park as favourites to win the game, and possibly the title, regardless of who is and isn’t fit for Everton, but the fact that the Toffees are suffering so badly from injuries will make their task of stopping Jurgen Klopp’s side even more difficult.
If Gbamin, Gomes and Delph are out, Liverpool would likely face an Everton midfield pairing of Tom Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson and the Reds would be confident of getting the best of that particular duo.
