Marko Grujic has seemingly aimed a controversial dig at Liverpool teammate Adrian on social media.
The Serb has sealed a loan move to Porto for the rest of the season, allowing him a better chance of earning regular playing time than at Anfield.
Grujic played in the same starting lineup as Adrian in last week’s Carabao Cup defeat to Arsenal, but he has since potentially damaged their relationship.
According to LFC Transfer Room on Twitter (@LFCTransferRoom), Grujic posted a comment on Instagram regarding the decision to take Aston Villa hat-trick hero Ollie Watkins out of his FPL team.
Ruing the decision, the midfielder then also added that Watkins’ performance “probably ended Adrian’s LFC career”, with a smirking emoji next to the comment:
Marko Grujic left a comment under an Instagram post in which people from @engleski_fudbal were praising Ollie Watkins
He mentioned that he had him in his FPL team but as soon as he got rid of him Ollie "does this"
After that he added "And he probably ended Adrian's LFC career😏"— LFC Transfer Room (@LFCTransferRoom) October 8, 2020

Jurgen Klopp always stresses the importance of team spirit and this behaviour will not impress him in the slightest.
I think Grujic’s future opportunities could even be damaged badly by his dig at Adrian, at a time when the Spaniard could be low on confidence after a poor display at Villa.
Klopp will not tolerate having a bad influence in his squad, as Mamadou Sakho found out in the past.
It will be interesting to see what Grujic has to say about the matter, if questioned about it.
