Roberto Firmino has hailed Liverpool teammate Mohamed Salah, lauding his work ethic and brilliance as a player.
The pair have excelled over the past three years, wreaking havoc with Sadio Mane in arguably Europe’s most deadly attacking unit.
Salah is renowned for his incredible goalscoring record, but he hasn’t achieved such success without a huge amount of hard work.
Speaking to FIFA.com, spoke highly of his Reds colleague, also praising Mane at the same time:
I admire Salah a lot. I love the way he plays. He scores a lot of goals. You wouldn’t believe how hard he works.
I’m very grateful to play alongside him and Mane, another magnificent player.

Firmino was speaking ahead of Liverpool’s clash with Everton on Saturday, with the Brazilian currently in a poor run of form.
While there is pressure on the 29-year-old to keep his place, I would still start him this weekend.
Firmino remains the glue who holds Liverpool’s attack together, dropping deep and creating space for Salah and Mane, as well as working endlessly off the ball.
Two goals for Brazil against Bolivia over the weekend suggest he has found some form, as he waits for his first goal of the season for the Reds.
In Takumi Minamino and Diogo Jota, Liverpool now have superior backup options, so Firmino can’t live on past glories for too much longer and must hit top gear again.
I think it would be just like him to score the winner at Goodison Park, just as he did in crucial fashion away to the likes of Crystal Palace, Tottenham and Wolves last season.
