Liverpool are officially the most valuable team in the world currently, according to new valuations from Transfermarkt.
The Reds have achieved incredible success in recent years, growing into an unstoppable force under Jurgen Klopp.
While some wondered if the Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid in 2018 would be too much to come back from, Liverpool have instead thrived, winning the competition the following year and clinching Premier League glory in July.
Klopp’s team is made up of endless world-class names, from Virgil van Dijk to Mohamed Salah, and their brilliance has been outlined by Transfermarkt‘s new global squad valuation rankings, as revealed by This Is Anfield.
Liverpool’s squad is worth a total of £973.35m, meaning they top the pile ahead of Manchester City (£971.64) and Bayern Munich (£793.08).

These figures only further highlight what a special team we are witnessing currently – quite possibly the best in the Reds’ great history.
There are arguably six or seven players who could all lay claim to being the best in the world in their respective positions, whether it be Van Dijk, Salah, Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Andy Robertson, Thiago or Salah.
Liverpool may be hit hard by injuries to key men at the moment, but they are still the team to beat in the Premier League.
The hope is that a dynasty is built under Klopp, rather than just a brief return to the top of the English and European game.
