Liverpool fans react as Salah set to be available for Atalanta clash

A number of Liverpool supporters have been expressing their delight at the news that Mohamed Salah could be back for the Champions League clash with Atalanta this week.

The Reds won 3-0 at home to Leicester City on Sunday evening, producing a virtuoso performance at Anfield and outlining their Premier League title credentials.

The manner of the victory was even more impressive because of the injuries Jurgen Klopp is having to deal with currently, with so many key men unavailable, from Virgil van Dijk to Thiago.

Salah was one of those who was absent on Sunday, having tested positive for the virus currently affecting the world.

Without him, Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino all shone, highlighting the depth at Klopp’s disposal these days.

After the game, Klopp confirmed that Salah could now be available for the Atalanta clash on Wednesday night, however, having tested negative.

He is expected to join his Liverpool teammates in training on Monday, acting as a major boost for the Reds.

The expectation had been that he would miss the matches with Atalanta and Brighton, due to self-isolating, but that has now changed.

These Liverpool supporters were delighted by the news and took to Twitter to voice their happiness.
