Several Liverpool fans have reacted to a video on Twitter of Jurgen Klopp’s video game likeness in FIFA 21 for next-gen consoles.

The footage shows an uncanny resemblance to the impassioned German as he runs around to give his players his famous embrace to celebrate a virtual 1-0 victory at Anfield against Merseyside rivals Everton, with Roberto Firmino the only goalscorer.

True to real life, an emotionally charged Klopp passionately greets his stars, including Joel Matip and Gini Wijnaldum, as they come off the pitch before delivering his triple first pump towards a packed Kop.

The Reds manager often shied away from his moment with the Kop with the cameras following his every move, despite the fans waiting with bated breath.

Of course, those celebrations are currently toned down as stadia remain empty, although 2,000 fans will be present for Liverpool’s match against Wolves on Sunday night – hopefully, the stepping stone to a return to real-life scenes like these once more.

Here’s how these Liverpool fans reacted to the gameplay footage, with one Kopite calling it “class”…
