Liverpool fans urge Trent Alexander-Arnold to return after social media post

Some Liverpool supporters have urged Trent Alexander-Arnold to return to the team following his latest social media post.

The 22-year-old has matured into one of the Reds’ most important players, almost redefining the role of a full-back.

In many ways, Alexander-Arnold is Liverpool’s most creative player, providing world-class quality from out wide, whether it be passing or crossing.

Jurgen Klopp has had to make do without the youngster since the 1-1 draw away to Manchester City last month, though, when he limped off with a calf injury.

It has been claimed that Alexander-Arnold will return to full training this week, putting him in contention to start Sunday’s Premier League clash at home to Wolves.

This morning, the boyhood Liverpool fan posted a touching video on Twitter, highlighting the importance of the return of fans to Anfield, with the tagline, ‘it means more when you’re our 12th man’.

These Liverpool fans responded to the post, showing their love for the right-back and willing him to come back in the fold as soon as possible.
