Liverpool winger Diogo Jota celebrates his 24th birthday today ahead of a meeting with his former club Wolves on Sunday night.
The Portuguese has been a sensational signing for Liverpool so far, scoring nine goals in his first 15 appearances for the Reds.
When Jota made the switch from Wolves, the general feeling was that he would be an able deputy to Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino – Jurgen Klopp’s go-to attack in recent years.
Instead, the forward has been a revelation, finding himself in a position where he is almost impossible to leave out.
Jota will be raring to go ahead of this weekend’s Premier League clash with Wolves at Anfield, aiming to defeat his former employers and inspire Liverpool to yet another home win.
