Jamie Carragher has responded hilariously to comments Jurgen Klopp made about Gary Neville.
The Liverpool legend and the former Manchester United man have struck up an unlikely friendship, shining together as pundits on Sky Sports.
Carragher and Neville used to be at loggerheads on the pitch, locking horns when Liverpool played United, but their relationship is closer these days.
That doesn’t mean they don’t still poke fun at each other, however, and it was Carragher’s turn on Friday.
Speaking in his pre-Wolves press conference, Klopp had a dig at Neville, following his claims that the Liverpool boss was trying to gain an edge with his comments about the fixture schedule:
I heard that Gary Neville said that I – I can’t remember exactly what he said – but it’s not about Liverpoo.
Whatever he thinks might be evidence of how he would be in a situation like this, he should not think that I am like him, because I am not like him.
I speak about all the players and not only Liverpool players.
Carragher responded perfectly to the Telegraph‘s Chris Bascombe’s tweet, simply posting a GIF of actor Jack Nicholson nodding, suggesting he fully agrees with Klopp’s remarks:

While it was always fun to see Carragher and Neville exchanging words with one another on the pitch, their current relationship is equally entertaining.
The duo clearly love their respective clubs, and loathe United and Liverpool respectively, but there is also genuine respect deep down.
Both played at the highest level over a long period of time, possessing winning mentalities that helped their teams achieve great success.
