Roberto Firmino produced an outrageous pass in Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Wolves – a moment that went a little under the radar.
The Reds were unplayable at times on Sunday night, as they romped to victory in front of 2,000 fans at Anfield.
There were formidable performances all over the pitch, whether it be the relentless Andy Robertson and Gini Wijnaldum, or the devastating Mohamed Salah.
One player who was much improved was Firmino, who showed signs of returning to his best form at Anfield.
One moment summed up the confidence he was playing with, as the Brazilian produced an incredible scissor-kicked pass to Sadio Mane, highlighted by @sxmlfc_ on Twitter:

When Firmino is in this mood, he is a joy to watch, with other bits of quality standing out in the game, including one superb nutmeg.
Liverpool supporters haven’t seen the best of their No.9 throughout 2020, but he is looking more confident and effective all of a sudden.
Perhaps the form of Diogo Jota has spurred Firmino on, showing why it was so important to sign a top-quality backup to the Reds’ world-renowned front-three, increasingly competition for places.
When the Brazil international is at the top of his game, so are Liverpool, meaning Sunday’s performance was a huge positive.
