Liverpool fans are brutally honest to Trent Alexander-Arnold after Twitter post

Some Liverpool supporters have criticised Trent Alexander-Arnold’s performance against Fulham, responding to his social media post in brutally honest fashion.

The Reds were hopeless at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon, producing one of their worst displays of the season so far.

Liverpool never managed to hit top gear in west London, and if anything, they were lucky to head back up north with a point, thanks to Mohamed Salah’s penalty in the second half.

On a day full of poor individual performances, Alexander-Arnold was arguably his side’s worst player.

The 22-year-old struggled defensively up against Ademola Lookman, but also lacked his usual precision in the final third, with too many passes and crosses failing to find teammates.

After the game, Alexander-Arnold took to Twitter to admit that Liverpool were a long way from their best.

These Reds supporters didn’t hold back in their response to the right-back, revealing their thoughts on his showing.
