Liverpool’s £36m new boy celebrates Reds transfer with family at LFC-themed party

Liverpool new boy Ibrahima Konaté is yet to feature for the Reds, but he looks to be fully invested in the club.

The club signed the Frenchman at the end of May for £36million from RB Leipzig.

With him currently enjoying his time off before heading over to Anfield at the start of July, the anticipation is high.

Konaté himself seems excited to be joining, with him reportedly throwing an LFC-themed party with his family.

The 22-year-old is currently holidaying in the south of France, with them celebrating his new move to Liverpool…

As cited by LFC Transfer Room above, Konaté looks in high spirits with his Liverpool themed drinks and cake.

It is great to see him and his family fully investing themselves in his new venture with the Reds.

His time at Leipzig was mightily impressive, with him becoming a regular in Ralf Rangnick’s starting XI.

However, Julian Nagelsmann had little time to connect with Konaté due to injury during his time under the German.

Luckily for the Reds, Konaté was keen to make the move to Liverpool, giving them some incredible depth in defence.

Going into next season, the club currently has Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Konaté, and Nat Phillips to name a few.

Hopefully, our new look defence will be enough to secure more silverware after a barren run last term.
