Valued at £63million and under contract until 2024 in London (Transfermarkt), any release clause would likely break the transfer record at Liverpool by some distance.
Having already amassed 134 Premier League appearances, there is little doubt Rice has a long and fruitful career ahead at the very top level.
Boasting a plethora of impressive attributes, the ace could be the perfect immediate replacement for James Milner and long-term successor to Jordan Henderson.
