Liverpool have been named among the clubs seriously ‘interested’ in West Ham midfielder Declan Rice.

The Reds are believed to be keen on the England star, along with Premier League rivals Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City.

Having recently turned down a new contract, the 22-year-old Hammer is reportedly open to signing a deal that includes a release clause.

That’s according to a report from 90min, as cited by Anfield Edition on Twitter.

The report claims sources close to all four clubs have confirmed their interest in signing the 24 times capped England man next summer.

Rice has made a strong start to the new campaign in east London, registering one assist in an unbeaten start – earning a 7.30 average Sofascore rating in the process.

Valued at £63million and under contract until 2024 in London (Transfermarkt), any release clause would likely break the transfer record at Liverpool by some distance.

Having already amassed 134 Premier League appearances, there is little doubt Rice has a long and fruitful career ahead at the very top level.

Boasting a plethora of impressive attributes, the ace could be the perfect immediate replacement for James Milner and long-term successor to Jordan Henderson.
