Liverpool would appear to hold a strong interest in Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham.
Following reports earlier this week that the Reds were prepared to break their own transfer record for the 18-year-old, further claims would appear to back up the admiration from Merseyside.
According to German journalist Patrick Berger on Twitter, the interest from Anfield is genuine, albeit the Bundesliga club are in no rush to sell.

Bellingham has gone from strength to strength since arriving in Germany from Birmingham City.
The teen sensation has earned eight England caps whilst scoring five times and adding seven assists in 51 outings for Die Schwarz.
Described as a ‘top player’ by Reds’ captain Jordan Henderson, Bellingham has previously admitted Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard was his idol growing up.

Of course, with such a lengthy contract and no release clause in play, Dortmund are in a position of strength – especially as Erling Haaland looks destined to leave the club next summer.
However, having shone in Germany, there remains the distinct possibility that the midfielder would relish the opportunity to return to England and prove himself in the Premier League.
Were that to be the case, Liverpool are right to position themselves at the very front of the queue for the £49.5million valued ace.
