Virals: Liverpool ‘plot raid’ to sign Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma

Liverpool reportedly have their sights firmly set on a move for Villarreal winger Arnaut Danjuma

This follows reports claiming that the Anfield club were sending scouts to watch the 24-year-old at Old Trafford in the UEFA Champions League.

Those officials would’ve been suitably impressed as the Dutchman ‘tormented’ Diogo Dalot all evening and earned the Man of the Match award despite being on the losing side.

Now, according to a fresh report from Football Insider, as cited on Twitter, the Reds are plotting a ‘raid’ for the tricky winger.

The report states that Liverpool are ‘compiling a dossier’ on the twice capped Holland ace.

Danjuma’s display contained two shots on target, three successful dribbles, one assist and two key passes (Sofascore) as well as the ‘unplayable’ tag from Owen Hargreaves.

This season the ex-Bournemouth ace has scored three times and provided one assist in seven appearances – following on from 22 direct goal contributions in the Championship last term.

On the basis of last night’s showing, Danjuma would be a stunning addition to Jurgen Klopp’s squad

Full of pace, trickery and direct running, the Dutch star would thrive under the German boss and likely improve his end product in no time.

Valued at £13.5million (Transfermarkt), despite only arriving in Spain this summer the Reds would surely be confident of attracting Danjuma to Merseyside.

matchday.
