In recent weeks, it was reported that Maghnes Akliouche has keen admirers at Anfield after his strong performances for Monaco.
And now, James Pearce has shared some information on the transfer, with PSG leading the race to sign the French international.
Akliouche a possibility for Liverpool
Akliouche was part of the France squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup but didn’t play a single minute as Didier Deschamps was blessed with an embarrassment of riches in attack.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Akliouche is learning English and is open to a move to the Premier League, which came as a massive boost for Liverpool.
And while Pearce believes Liverpool aren’t imminently expected to make a move for the 24-year-old, he is one to watch between now and the end of the summer transfer window.
“I think you’d be looking at €50m-€60m [£42.7m-£51.3m] for Akliouche,” said Pearce on GiveMeSport’s market madness podcast.
“So yeah, he’s certainly one that I say is a possibility, rather than a kind of definite they’ll be making a move for him.”
As we mentioned earlier, PSG are favourites to sign Akliouche, but with Liverpool’s need for an attacker increasing with each passing week, don’t be surprised to see them make a late push to land the French international.
