Liverpool are in the market for attacking reinforcements as we edge closer to the start of the 2026-27 Premier League season.
Bradley Barcola has been heavily linked with a move to Liverpool and is willing to swap PSG for Anfield if the two sides agree a fee.
There was interest in Yan Diomande, who PSG also wanted. However, the Ivorian seems to be headed to Real Madrid after the La Liga giants completed a late hijack.
Another player linked with Liverpool is Monaco’s Maghnes Akliouche, who is valued at around €60m.
And now, it appears as if he has his heart set on a move to PSG, if reports from France are to be believed.
Maghnes Akliouche wants PSG over Liverpool
Earlier this month, there were reports that Akliouche is learning English and is open to a move to the Premier League, which came as great news for Liverpool.
Now, however, according to Santi Aouna, the Frenchman wants to join PSG despite Liverpool being willing to pay more money to Monaco.
He wrote on his X account: “Despite Liverpool’s interest, Maghnes Akliouche wants to join PSG.
“The Reds are ready to offer AS Monaco more than PSG, but the player’s desire is clear: he only wants Paris.
“Discussions continue between the two clubs.”
The Monaco man has his heart set on a move to the French capital, so Liverpool are better off looking elsewhere.
