At this point, Liverpool fans are probably bored of reading every regurgitated rumour involving their reported pursuit of PSG forward Bradley Barcola.
We at Read Liverpool have been guilty of this too, but forgive us as we try to keep everyone up to date with all the happenings of the saga.
Yesterday, Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Barcola is open to joining Liverpool and will not extend his contract with PSG.
And now, Nico Schira says the Reds have agreed personal terms with a French international on a long-term contract
Liverpool to hand Bradley Barcola a ‘top salary’
Barcola has two years left on his current deal and has made it very clear to the Parisian giants that he won’t extend his contract.
There have been suggestions that he could remain at PSG, too, but he is also open to a transfer, with Luis Enrique’s side willing to sell for the right price.
Schira has some news on the personal terms front. According to his report, Barcola has agreed a six-year deal with Liverpool until the summer of 2032, with the Reds set to pay him a ‘top’ salary.
Judging by the aforementioned report, Liverpool are willing to make Barcola one of their highest-paid players to snap him up this summer.
There have been contrasting reports on his price tag, though. However, we relayed news on Read Liverpool that PSG would consider bids in the region of €120m for Barcola, which is probably a fair price for a player of his calibre, experience and pedigree.
Expect this one to gain momentum this week, maybe even as early as today!
