Liverpool are reportedly interested in signing Adrien Rabiot as a free agent next summer but it looks like they are facing competition for his signature from Manchester City.
According to a report from CA1, as per Sport Witness, Rabiot’s representatives are set to meet with officials from the Premier League champions to discuss a move to the Etihad.
Rabiot has made no secret of his desire to move to the Premier League at some point during his career and he could get his wish next summer.
The 23-year-old can sign a pre-contract agreement with any club outside of France in January and Liverpool, if the links are true, will want him to commit his future to the Reds.
The Frenchman has publicly admitted to being a huge fan of Liverpool and the Reds will hope that, if a decision needs to be made, his emotional attachment to the Reds will see him choose to move to Anfield rather than to City.
