Liverpool have shown an interest in Bayern Munich midfielder Thiago Alcantara who is reportedly keen to sign for The Reds, according to a report from BILD.
Thiago’s current deal with Bayern expires in 2021 and the player has reportedly told club officials that he doesn’t want to sign a new contract with the German champions.
Christian Falk of BILD suggests that the player has already told his teammates that he would be interested in a move to Liverpool amidst the reported interest in him from the Premier League champions-elect.

Although he is 29-year-old, Thiago could well be an excellent addition for Liverpool if they are looking to upgrade their midfield options.
The Spanish international has been an integral part of the Munich side that has dominated the Bundesliga over the last seven years and has continued to perform at a high level.
Given that he’s about to enter the final year of his deal, Liverpool may well be able to get the Spaniard for a reduced price and if they can, it should, in our opinion, be something they pursue.
