Liverpool have already started their activity within the summer transfer market.
The club announced the signing of French defender Ibrahima Konaté last week from RB Leipzig for £36million.
As well as this, the club have been linked with a number of attacking talent already this summer.
The club were reportedly set to announce the singing of RB Salzburg striker Patson Daka, which is yet to happen.
Reports also suggested that the club were considering a move for Fiorentina’s Dušan Vlahović too.
However, another name was mentioned by former Premier League striker Carlton Cole on TalkSPORT.
As cited by HITC, the former West Ham man said that Liverpool should make a move Tottenham’s Harry Kane.
It would certainly be an ambitious signing from the club given the reputation that Kane has built.
This season was one of his standouts of his career, with 23 goals and 14 assists from just 35 appearances.
Contributing towards 37 goals in just 35 games are incredible nubers ot be putting up and shows a clear growth in Kane’s game.
Despite this, he would come at a more than heavy price with a current market value of £108million according to Transfermarkt.
Liverpool would need to sell some players to be able to fund such a move in the current market.
It had previously been reported that the club are looking to offload Divock Origi, Harry Wilson, and Marko Grujic.
A move for Kane isn’t likely to happen in the summer, but there is no doubt he would be a great signing.
