Celtic should move for Liverpool loanee Ryan Kent this summer according to former Hoops forward Chris Sutton.
Kent has been a key player for Steven Gerrard’s Rangers this season, scoring six goals and creating four assists in 22 league appearances, and the 22-year-old produced a fine display once again during last weekend’s Glasgow Derby against Celtic.
The winger scored a fine solo goal for the 10 men of Rangers on Sunday and is reportedly set for a move away from Anfield this summer, though Gerrard is unlikely to have the finances available to fund a permanent move for him.

Celtic, however, could potentially afford the reported £7million Liverpool will demand for Kent, and former Hoops striker Sutton believes the winger would strengthen the Scottish champions’ squad.
In his column for the Daily Record, Sutton wrote:
The points gap is increasing at the top of the table but let’s not be fooled as this Celtic team still needs a major summer rebuild. They could do a lot worse than trying to pinch Ryan Kent from under the noses of Rangers. Why not? The on-loan Liverpool winger would improve Celtic and the left-hand side of the team is an issue with Scott Sinclair’s performances now so flat.
