Liverpool target Christian Pulisic was asked for his opinion on Reds’ manager Jurgen Klopp and when he gave his answer, he was full of praise for the German.
The 20-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Anfield, either in January or in the summer, as his time at Borussia Dortmund looks to be coming to an end.
The American international is out of contract at the end of next season and with it looking unlikely that he’ll sign an extension, he will almost certainly be sold at some point in the next eight months.
Dortmund have stated that they won’t sell Pulisic in January, but they might decide to cash in if they get a good enough offer.

When asked about Klopp, the man who could potentially be his next boss, the forward said:
He was there when I first moved to the club. I was obviously playing with the youth teams at Dortmund, but he was the one who gave me my first professional training session, just to give me a taste of it. He always accepted me and he was very kind to me, so I will always be thankful for that. I know he’s a great guy, and it’s nice to see him doing so well for Liverpool.
When asked if Klopp is the type of manager he would like to play under, Pulisic said:
Yes, of course. I personally didn’t get to know him too well but I’ve heard stories from some of my team-mates who did and they loved playing for him so absolutely.
