Hakim Ziyech offers Liverpool and Man United transfer boost

Liverpool and Manchester United target Hakim Ziyech snubbed Sevilla and is eager to join a big club.

The Morrocan magician was the very few players who was key in Ajax’s successful Champions League run last season. He bagged 16 goals and contributed 13 assists as a free roam midfielder.

After Ajax’s 2-0 win over PSV in the Dutch Super Cup, this is what he said.

I feel at home here and get to play a lot. I think Sevilla is from the same level as Ajax and I don’t switch Ajax for nothing. The right club didn’t make an offer yet, so for now I just stick with Ajax and do my very best on the field. I think everybody gets along really well. It’s a great team. We have fun and you shouldn’t give that up for anything. You shouldn’t leave because of leaving; it has to be something you fully approve.

According to Don Balon, cited by Caught Offside, the Reds and the Red Devils are interested in Hakim Ziyech.

Jurgen Klopp recently played down any first-team signings, however, if Ziyech is to join, he will add depth, dynamism, and flair.
