Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris faces a battle to be fit for his team’s game against Liverpool this weekend as he is struggling with a thigh injury.
Lloris missed Tottenham’s 2-1 defeat to Watford with the injury, as well as France’s recent international games against Germany and the Netherlands and he says he’s not sure if he’ll be fit for the match at Wembley at lunchtime on Saturday.
Speaking to RMC about his injury, the France and Tottenham captain said:
I am working hard to get back as quickly as possible. There may be a chance this weekend, but we will see how much progress is made during the week.

If the 31-year-old is unable to play, then Michel Vorm will deputise in goal for a Spurs side looking to bounce back after their defeat at Vicarage Road.
In other Tottenham news, Dele Alli will sit out of England’s game with Switzerland but he’s expected to be fit for his club’s game against the Reds on Saturday.
