Liverpool have already made their presence known in the current transfer market.
The end of May saw the Reds announce the signing of French centre-back Ibrahima Konaté from RB Leipzig.
Following the £36million signing, plenty of speculation began to arise over how good Konaté could be for the club.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher gave his thoughts, labelling the 22-year-old as ‘massive’.
However, a better judgement over Konaté has come out, with his former RB Leipzig teammate Yvon Mvogo tipping him for success…
As reported by The Mirror, via Anfield Watch above, Mvogo says that Konaté is one of the best young defenders he has ever seen.
Mvogo goes on to state that he feels Konaté will be a success at Liverpool, as he is very suited to the Premier League style…
“I’m sure he will succeed there and show everyone what a great player he is. I know he has all the attributes needed to do well in the Premier League. He has all the strengths a defender needs.”

It is great to hear given Liverpool’s extensive pursuit of Konaté, and Jurgen Klopp’s faith in the youngster.
The German is reportedly planning to start Konaté next season alongside Virgil van Dijk.
If the news is true, then the pair could form quite the formidable partnership given their stature and abilities.
You can’t help but feel for Joe Gomez, however, with the Englishman really impressing in central defence the last few seasons.
Hopefully, the three centre-backs will get their fair share of game time, with the trio extremely talented footballers.
