Klopp expecting Firmino to feature in Champions League final

Jurgen Klopp expects striker Roberto Firmino to be fit for Liverpool’s Champions League final clash against Tottenham on Saturday.

Firmino has been recovering from a muscular injury that ruled him out of the Reds’ final three league games, and the Champions League second-leg comeback against Barcelona.

And according to Liverpool Echo reporter James Pearce, Klopp revealed earlier on Tuesday that the Brazilian has been training this week and looks set to be available for the final.

Midfielder Naby Keita meanwhile is ruled out once again with the injury he sustained in the first-leg of Liverpool’s Champions League semi-final against Barcelona.

Keita has been included in Guinea’s preliminary squad for the Africa Cup of Nations this summer, but it is unknown whether the midfielder will be fit to represent his country in the tournament.
