Teenager Liam Coyle has signed a new contract with Liverpool Football Club.
The Liverpool-born midfielder has been a regular feature in the Reds’ U23 side squad this season, despite being just 18-years-old.
Coyle has been at the Liverpool academy since the age of 10, and often captained the U18s before he moved up to play for the U23s.
A back injury robbed the youngster of almost the entire season last year, but he’s looking to make up for it during this campaign and the news of a new contract should give him a huge boost.
Jurgen Klopp has shown a great willingness and desire to promote players from the Liverpool academy and Coyle will now look to continue his development and hopefully make his way into the first-team squad at some point in the future.
