Andoni Iraola has already had to deal with his fair share of injury concerns at Liverpool.
The likes of Conor Bradley, Hugo Ektike and Giovanni Leoni are long-term absentees and are set to return at some point this year.
Additionally, Dom Szoboszlai, Joe Gomez, Jeremie Frimpong, Alexander Isak and Cody Gakpo have all missed games this season, which has emerged as a problem for the Spaniard.
Another player who has struggled with injuries is Jayden Danns, who hasn’t featured for the club since last September.
And now, Rob Page believes he is ready to go after overcoming his injury hell.
Jayden Danns fully fit for Liverpool
“His fitness is good,” said Page via the Liverpool Echo.
“It was always part of the plan that some games he will play and others he won’t. Sometimes he will play 45.
“It depends on what his training load has been throughout the week. If he has done enough work during the week, it might just be that he is getting game time.
“It’s not about 90 minutes – it’s about game time to get his sharpness so that he is ready when he is called on.
“He’s ready to go. It’s just like with any of these top athletes, you have to manage the load throughout the week and be sensible about it.”
Danns was on the bench vs Villarreal in midweek and could make his first appearance of the season at some point in the coming weeks.
