Liverpool are one of a number of teams rumoured to be targeting Atletico Madrid forward Mario Mandzukic.
According to reports in Mundo Deportivo, the Reds, along with Manchester City & Wolfsburg, are interested in signing the Croatian international.
The striker would apparently cost in the region of £26m, which could scare off Liverpool for obvious reasons.
Brendan Rodgers is very keen to bolster his attacking options this summer, and Mandzukic offers a proven goalscoring track record.
With Mario Balotelli, Fabio Borini and Rickie Lambert all being linked with moves away, the Reds might be able to sign big should they manage to offload as they plan to.
