Liverpool make reported €80million offer for Pepe

Liverpool have made an €80million bid for LOSC Lille star Nicolas Pepe, with the Reds offering the winger a five year deal.

That’s according to Gazzetta dello Sport reporter Nicolo Schira, who suggests Jurgen Klopp is eager to conclude the deal for Pepe and has submitted an offer to Lille.

Pepe emerged as one of the best young talents in European football last season, scoring 23 goals and creating 12 assists in 41 appearances for the French outfit.

The winger has attracted interest from the likes of Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Manchester United, as well as Liverpool, and it appears the Reds have made the first move.

Pepe was an unused substitute for the Ivory Coast in their final friendly game prior to the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations tournament.
