Some Liverpool supporters have been left hugely unimpressed with the Premier League’s latest announcement.
It has been confirmed by the Telegraph that from next weekend onwards, fans will have to pay to watch their teams on Sky Sports Box Office and BT Sport Box Office.
That is assuming the game isn’t being screened as one of Sky or BT’s showcase games over the weekend.
Supporters will have to pay as much as £14.95 to watch their sides in action, hampering them further financially at a particularly difficult time for the country.
Liverpool may not be as affected as some clubs, however, due to the Reds so often being shown live.
Sky are hosting the upcoming Merseyside derby at Goodison Park on October 17th, but the home clash with Sheffield United on October 24th is on Sky Sports Box Office (8pm BST).
These Reds fans have been airing their views on Twitter, voicing their displeasure at the news.

Even in normal times, many fans can't watch their team due to high ticket prices. Feels like watching on TV is cheaper, but we end up paying more.
Now, TV companies (and clubs) are using the situation to take advantage of fans' loyalty and make them pay even more. https://t.co/e8fcD2J0BH

feel free to begin laughing uncontrollably at how PL/clubs/broadcasters actually think people are going to pay this type of fee (~£15) PER MATCH in the current climate https://t.co/5UWm4TnlU2

Lockdown 2 is coming, nobody's going to have anything to do, they're all trapped at home again, what can we do?
Charge them £15 a match. https://t.co/sKkiC91z2a— Ian Salmon (@IanRSalmon) October 9, 2020
