Liverpool’s Ojo arrives in Glasgow ahead of Rangers medical

Liverpool’s Sheyi Ojo has arrived in Glasgow ahead of a season-long loan at Scottish Premiership side Rangers, according to reports from BBC Sport.

The 21-year-old has been with Liverpool since 2011 but has been on loan more or less every season since 2015. Last season, Ojo was with French outfit Stade de Reims, where he was unable to nail down a regular spot in the side.

Ojo will be joining Steven Gerrard’s side in Glasgow and the youngster will be hoping to play more games than he did last season, with his development stalling.

The right-winger will want to impress bosses at Anfield to potentially to get himself into the Liverpool squad once he finishes at Rangers.

According to the report, Ojo is preparing for his medical at Rangers ahead of another season on loan away from Anfield. This announcement comes not long after he signed a new five-year contract with Liverpool.
