Rangers have offered a contract to Liverpool midfielder Pedro Chirivella after the Spaniard turned down the chance to extend his current deal with the Reds.
Speaking exclusively to Read Liverpool, a source with knowledge of the Spaniard’s situation told us that the midfielder has decided not to stay at Anfield, and that there are a number of clubs across Europe interested in signing him for free.
One of those clubs is Steven Gerrard’s Rangers, who have offered the Spaniard a contract, whilst he’s also had offers from French side Nantes, as well as a few other teams on the continent.
Gerrard is looking to assemble a squad to help Rangers win next season’s Scottish Premiership title and prevent rivals Celtic from winning the tenth-straight championship and he sees Chirivella as a player who could be a nice addition to his squad.

It looks almost-certain that Chirivella will be leaving Liverpool this summer when his contract expires, the only thing that needs clearing up is the club he will decide to join.
Chirivella impressed during his outings for the Reds this season, playing well in the domestic cup games for which he was selected.
Whether it be Nantes, Rangers or any other club, Chirivella certainly has the talent to succeed, wherever he decides to go.
