Virals: Tweet highlights exciting list of soon to be out of contract stars

Liverpool are never far from transfer speculation and the recent summer transfer window was no exception.

Despite the extensive list of links, the Reds remained relatively inactive and instead opted to free up room in their squad by offloading fringe players.

Only centre-back Ibrahima Konate was added to Jurgen Klopp’s first-team as the German sets about pursuing major honours once again.

That could all change in January however, as Harvey Elliott’s long-term absence takes its toll as well as the rigours of the season and an impending African Cup of Nations.

Also, the new year could bring about new opportunities as highlighted by a Tweet from Dinesh Kumar.

From the list, Pedri, Kylian Mbappe, Franck Kessie, Paulo Dybala and Ousmane Dembele have all been linked with a move to Anfield previously.

Whilst many could yet extend deals at their current clubs and Mbappe looks somewhat destined for Real Madrid, Liverpool would surely be monitoring many of the situations.

Lorenzo Pellegrini and Fabio Vieira were also linked with Klopp’s side over the summer, with the latter reportedly struggling to reach an agreement at FC Porto.

This market must surely be one of extreme interest to the club.

Signing players of the quality of those listed for free, albeit many with eye-watering wage demands would be a huge coup.

Although Mbappe would be top of many Kopites’ wishlist, in truth landing almost any of the soon to be free agents would bolster Klopp’s squad immensely.

matchday.
