Liverpool transfer news as bombshell Kylian Mbappe claim emerges

Over the past few years, Liverpool have tried and failed to sign Kylian Mbappe, first before his move to Monaco and then when he wanted to leave PSG.

And in recent weeks, we heard it from the horse’s mouth as the Frenchman himself confirmed that he held talks with the Reds, while Jurgen Klopp also spoke in detail about how Liverpool wanted him when he was a teenager.

Now, he is virtually unattainable and is Real Madrid’s crown jewel.

However, a controversial claim from Spain appears to suggest that he is growing disgruntled with life at Madrid, due to which he is open to joining Liverpool.

Spanish reports claim Kylian Mbappe wants to join Liverpool

Spanish journalist Francois Gallardo claims Mbappe has made the decision to leave Real Madrid in 2027, adding that Liverpool is his favoured destination.

“Several Premier League teams are interested in Kylian Mbappe, but the player’s priority is Liverpool,” said the Spaniard via Defensa Central.

“They have already contacted Fayza Lamari in recent weeks.

“The player doesn’t feel loved or supported in the Real Madrid dressing room and that makes him uncomfortable.

“The transfer fee would be between 200 and 250 million euros.”

Later, he added to his claim on X.

“WORLD EXCLUSIVE Kylian Mbappe is angry and disappointed with Real Madrid,” wrote Gallardo.

“He has made the decision to leave the club in the summer of 2027, and Real Madrid is not going to stand in his way.

“His next destination is in the Premier League. End boom! And if not, prove me wrong.”

Honestly, this seems like an outrageous rumour and no one else has picked up on it, so we need to take it with a pinch of salt, at the very least.
