Young Liverpool striker Dominic Solanke was today invited to join up with the rest of the England senior squad for training at St George’s Park.
Simon Peach of the Press Association confirms that Solanke took part in the training session as the Three Lions prepare to take on Spain and Switzerland during the international break.
There have been some concerns over the fitness of Harry Kane, but it is yet to be seen what sort of role he will play against Spain.
Gareth Southgate has never been shy to bring in youngsters to train with the senior squad, with a number of young stars, including Mason Mount and Trevoh Chalobah training with the squad prior to the World Cup.

Spain travel to Wembley as part of the new UEFA Nations League, with Southgate looking to make a mark on the international stage after a positive World Cup over the summer.
Solanke will have been around some familiar faces, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Adam Lallana, Joe Gomez and Jordan Henderson all named in Southgate’s squad.
