A number of Liverpool supporters have been hugely lifted by Virgil van Dijk’s latest social media post, as he continues his recovery from serious injury.
The 29-year-old suffered cruciate ligament damage away to Everton last month, having been on the receiving end of a horrendous challenge by Jordan Pickford.
Liverpool have generally fared well without Van Dijk, but there is still no denying that the Reds look more susceptible in his absence.
It is likely that the Dutchman won’t play again this season, so Jurgen Klopp’s men are going to have to defend their Premier League title without him.
On Friday, Van Dijk broke his social media silence after a spell away from the platform, posting on Twitter.

Liverpool’s towering centre-back posted photos of himself in the gym at the Reds’ new training ground, suggesting he is progressing well.
These Reds fans were delighted to see Van Dijk update them on the situation, showing their love for him on Twitter.
