Atletico Madrid are the latest club to be linked with a move for Divock Origi, with the La Liga giants seeing him as a possible replacement for Diego Costa.
Origi continues to be tipped for moves away from Liverpool in January, with the likes of Inter Milan and Wolves tipped to sign him in recent days.
The Belgian seemingly has no future at Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp limiting him to just three cameo appearances in the Premier League this season.
With Costa’s contract at Atletico terminated, manager Diego Simeone is looking for someone to come in and fill the void, telling director of football Andrea Berta to bring in a new face.
Speaking to Radio Kiss Kiss [via Sport Witness], Italian journalist Ciro Venerato claimed Origi was a target for the current La Liga leaders:
[Berta] was offered Loren Moron (from Real Betis), as well as Origi.

It looks increasingly as though Origi’s time as a Liverpool player is coming to an end, after quite a journey on Merseyside.
He has often not looked good enough to be a part of this superb Reds side, but his contributions cannot be downplayed.
Origi’s goals against the likes of Tottenham, Barcelona, Everton and Newcastle United in 2018/19 will never be forgotten.
A January move makes sense for all parties, however, allowing the 25-year-old more regular playing time and generating funds for Liverpool.
