The summer transfer window is fast approaching with Liverpool linked with plenty of talent.

One of the players that Liverpool have found themselves mentioned with is Brighton’s Yves Bissouma.

The midfielder has impressed for the south coast club this season and has earned plenty of interest.

Liverpool will be looking to replace Georginio Wijnaldum with the Dutchman likely to leave at the end of this season.

However, despite Liverpool’s interest in Bissouma, one pundit has advised the midfielder against the move.

According to BBC pundit Ian Wright, Bissouma should snub a move to Liverpool in favour of Manchester United.

Wright describes United as the ‘much more attractive’ destination rather than Liverpool…

It is a very interesting take from Wright to describe United as the more attractive transfer option.

Liverpool have won the Champions League and Premier League over the last three seasons and are genuine contenders.

Whereas United haven’t won a trophy since 2017 under Jose Mourinho with the Europa League victory.

For Wright to try and push Bissouma away from a move to Liverpool is unfair.

The Reds may have had an off season this time around but they will still be considered title contenders next campaign.

With players such a Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mané, and Virgil van Dijk, the club has a star studded squad.

Playing with individuals such as this is an massively attractive offer as well as being able to play under Jurgen Klopp.

There isn’t much clarity as to why Wright feels this way, but it is safe to say it is an unfair take.
