During a glittering spell in the 1970s, the talismanic forward inspired the club to three league titles, an FA Cup, and two UEFA Cups. Keegan was signed from Scunthorpe by Bill Shankly and would move to Hamburg after winning the European Cup with Liverpool.
He would also become England manager in 1999 as well manager of Newcastle in their most successful period in the 90s as well as Fulham and Manchester City.
