Liverpool are currently on their way to Chicago for their pre-season tour of the USA where they will take on Sunderland, Wrexham and Leeds United.
The Reds have named an initial 31-man squad for the tour, with a bunch of other senior players like Virgil van Dijk and Florian Wirtz set to link up with the squad later this month.
However, one notable absentee is Armin Pecsi, with the young Hungarian not with the travelling squad as he is close to leaving the club.
Armin Pecsi close to swapping Liverpool for TSV Hartberg
Pecsi joined Liverpool in the summer of 2025 and hasn’t yet made his debut for the club.
However, he is highly regarded by the Reds, who beat off a handful of clubs across the continent to secure his signature last summer.
James Pearce of The Athletic has confirmed that Pecsi is in talks to leave the club on loan, with Austrian side TSV Hartberg his destination on a season-long loan deal.
With Alisson Becker the first-choice goalkeeper and Giorgi Mamardashvili set to deputise for him, Liverpool also have Freddie Woodman as their third-choice option, which means Pecsi wouldn’t even get game time in the cups.
With Pecsi’s move set to be confirmed imminently, Liverpool have included young goalkeeper Bailey Hall in the squad to add to their shot-stopping ranks.
